Character Council of Florida, Inc.

With extensive background in management and operations, Lisa serves as the Executive Director of the Character Council of Florida and, as such, is responsible for the daily operations, planning and budgeting, and long-range sustainability of the organization. Lisa brings more than 20 years of professional experience in the dental field to the Character Council. She attended a Character First!® Management training seminar in October, 2001 and “caught” the vision of character training and development. After a period of volunteer service with CCF beginning in November, 2001 she was named Executive Director.

The continued growth of the organization is a direct result of her demonstrated talents in meeting and serving the client’s needs – from creative curriculum adaptation to resourceful financing. She has trained more than 8,000 teachers, business leaders, and activists and participates in conferences and workshops in introducing the “character first” concept throughout the Southeast. She currently serves on the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Board and the Tobacco Free Coalition leading the outreach program. Her character training and commitment has earned her the recognition as “The Character Lady.” She and her husband, John Michael, reside in Marianna.
