Lisa Hamilton Certified Trainer & Executive Director
Character Council of Florida, Inc.
With extensive background in management and operations, Lisa serves as the Executive Director of the Character Council of Florida and, as such, is responsible for the daily operations, planning and budgeting, and long-range sustainability of the organization. Lisa brings more than 20 years of professional experience in the dental field to the Character Council. She attended a Character First!® Management training seminar in October, 2001 and “caught” the vision of character training and development. After a period of volunteer service with CCF beginning in November, 2001 she was named Executive Director.

Susan has been a part of the Character First!® community outreach initiative in the Florida Panhandle since it began in 2001. To date, she has participated in training more than 8,000 teachers, business leaders, and community activists throughout the tri-state area of Georgia, Alabama, and Florida in how to implement and sustain the Character First!® program. As Chief Operating Officer of Melvin Engineering, she is responsible for Human Resources, General Services, Marketing, and, of course, daily operations. Her focus with the Character Council of Florida is training, marketing and special events.
